Viennese Street Scenes & Newly Bald Steven!

Some photos that didn't go with the others I thought you might like to see.

The spire of St. Peter's Cathedral in the sun, glory be!

Lina: I had just seen your comment about loving Mozart so, when we went out our last night, I thought of you when seeing Mozart references! This restaurant was all of 2 minutes from our hostel.

Alexander: Thought of you when I saw this plaque even though  it's not the same Peter Singer.

Newly bald (again) Steven in our much bigger room at the Hostel Ruthensteiner; the 1st one we were offered, had the bed hemmed in on 3 sides by walls; ust a tad cosy, wouldn't you say fro 3 people for 6 nights?
See the Gustav Klimt reproduction in the background?

Fascinating architecture directly across from St. Peter's Cathedral.

Wish we could have found out what war memorial this was before we left Vienna. As you can see, it was huge.

Why the Cyrillic writing in Vienna?
Who couldgn't love this sign!
I had palaces on my mind after seeing so many of them; this was not a palace but rather the 'Palais Cobourg Residenz.
Mindy: this is for your Lillie!
Schmaltzy, I know, but very true.
